Vita

Lubomira Radoilska is Honorary Professor of Philosophy at the University of Kent, UK and Editor-in-Chief of Ethical Theory and Moral Practice. She works at the intersection of ethics, philosophy of action and epistemology, and has long-standing research interests in legal and political philosophy, and Ancient Greek philosophy. Her research programme develops a distinctive Aristotelian approach to core agency concepts, including autonomy and responsibility as applied to a range of issues, such as moral luck, epistemic injustice and metal disorder.

Research at the ZEPP

During her ZEPP fellowship, Lubomira Radoilska will investigate the role of habits in responsible action, both at collective and individual levels, through an ecological lens. This new approach to habit transcends how the notion is standardly theorised in philosophy to make better sense of the crucial role that references to habit and its cognates, such as attitude, culture, ethos and practice actually play in attributions of moral responsibility across a wide range of practical domains.
